Steinblock bouldering hall opened in Dornbirn

It was so far last Saturday. With 1200m² bouldering area, the largest bouldering hall in Vorarlberg, Austria opened in the Fischbach area in Dornbirn.

In countless planning and assembly hours, the team at the Steinblock Boulderhallen awakened the former high-bay warehouse of Hämmerle Textilwerke from its slumber in the past year and turned the rough diamond into a bouldering experience of superlatives.

Climbing walls made of local glulam in unusual wall shapes, a gigantic training area (Kilter, Moon and campus board) and an adventure children's area offer a perfect offer for beginners, amateur athletes and competitive athletes. In addition, there is the tried-and-tested feel-good concept of the stone block bouldering halls: natural materials, spacious lounge areas, cozy catering area with small snacks and a wonderful sun terrace.

With the new location in Dornbirn, we triple our range of climbing and training areas in Vorarlberg.

CEO Guntram Mattle

The Steinblock bouldering hall in Dornbirn promises a wide variety of regularly renewed bouldering routes and a wide range of courses for beginners. In the children's area of the hall, the youngsters can let off steam, climb and celebrate. And for the ambitious visitors, the spacious training area with moonboard, kilterboard and campus board leaves nothing to be desired.

After the past labor-intensive months, the Steinblock team was pleased to open the new location in Dornbirn with a cozy barbecue and live music and to welcome many new and regular customers. Since August 1st 2020 bouldering has been possible every day.
