Incredible performance: Jakob Schubert and Nicolai Uznik successful in Ticino

The two Austrians Jakob Schubert and Nicolai Uznik make short work of them in Brione and the Val Bavona. They both climb seven boulders at the eighth French grade within a very short time.

Three days in the best conditions in a region that is bursting with dream lines. Start there Jakob Schubert and Nicolai Uznik right through. We are used to Jakob presenting unbelievable tick lists after his trips.

On his most recent trip he was accompanied by up-and-coming talent Nicolai Uznik - who easily keeps up with Grandmaster. They both climb seven 8-man boulders, including an 8c line, and sing a hymn of praise for that Tessin, .

I am always impressed by the beauty and rock quality of these valleys.

When such difficult boulders are climbed so quickly, the lines are often threatened with devaluation. This is what happened in the case of General Disarray and The Kingdom. At least with Jakob Schubert the two lines have to give up a bit, even if only minimally. He indicates 8b + for The Kingdom (previously 8b + / 8c) and also lowers the rating of the Brione classic General Disarray from 8b to 8a + / 8b.
