From snow to the rock: Nadine Wallner scores the Tradroute Principle Hope in Bürs

The 29-year-old Austrian Nadine Wallner is the second woman to score the Trad testpiece Principle hope at the Bürser plate.

Most readers will either know Nadine Wallner for her freeride talent or not at all. With her performance on the rock, she has not caused a stir so far. If Nadine continues as before, it will soon change.

After four years already 8b / + climbed

Only four years ago, the two-time Freeride World Tour winner started climbing. In May 2018 she climbed already her first 8a (Grenzgänger, Voralpsee) and doubled with the celebration of euphoria (8b / +), also on Voralpsee, one month later.

Short time changed from sport climbing to Tradklettern

Her next big project was the route Principle hope, one of the most famous Trad routes in Europe. The route can only be secured sparingly by wedges and friends. The change from sport climbing to Tradklettern fell Nadine apparently not really hard. A few days ago, she succeeded in the redpoint ascent of the first route by Beat Kammerlander. She is the second woman to succeed in the route. The first female ascent went to the account of Babsi Zangerl.

But she is rather known: Steep descents. Here is the trailer for the movie Now or Never
