Melloblocco 2026 – The legendary bouldering event enters its next round

From May 6th to 9th, 2026, Val Masino in Valtellina will once again transform into a meeting place for thousands of boulderers from all over the world. Online registration is now open.

Melloblocco is one of the largest and most renowned bouldering festivals worldwide. Since its first edition in 2004, the event has brought thousands of climbers to Val Masino in the Italian Valtellina region every year. The focus is on shared experiences, working hard until your fingers bleed, and connecting with like-minded individuals in a unique setting.

Melloblocco is characterized by its open, communal spirit: top international athletes boulder side-by-side with amateur climbers, sharing projects, tips, and their passion for rock climbing. The open bouldering is complemented by a supporting program including workshops, test equipment from sponsors, film screenings, and parties.

Here, climbing enthusiasts can enjoy the towering granite walls and push themselves to their limits. From top-notch bouldering to exciting big walls, the valley offers something for everyone. It's a veritable playground, especially for bouldering fans. In the upper difficulty range, over 140 boulder problems, from 8A to 8B+, await. At the other end of the scale, there are three times as many challenges, up to a maximum of 5C.
