Shauna Coxsey and Jongwon Chon win Boulder World Cup in Vail

The Boulder World Cup was once again dominated by Japan. Nine Japanese athletes were in the top of the qualifying round and six made it to the final. Won the men Jongwon Chon and the women of the British Shauna Coxsey. For Switzerland Petra Klingler appeared in the final.

In Vail, Colorado, the fifth bouldering competition of the season took place. As is often the case this year, Japan dominated the qualifying round and the front end ranks. In the men's race, four Japanese athletes made it into the top six, while the women's ranks two and three were occupied by Japanese Akiyo Noguchi and Miho Nonaka.

Petra Klingler Made it to the finals for the third time in this competition season, and finished fifth in Vail. The Bernese Kevin Heiniger realized with the 14. Place his best ever World Cup result so far.
