A13 temporarily closed to Ticino (forest fire)

The two villages of Mesocco and Soazza were hit by forest fires on December 27th. Due to the fires, the A13 had to be closed.

If you want to drive to Ticino over the Christmas period, you must currently avoid the Gotthard route. The A13 is closed until further notice. Due to the fires in the canton of Grisons, there is a risk of falling rocks.

Forest fire also in Ticino

There are also fires around the village of Chironico. Whether and to what extent the bouldering area is affected is not known to the editors at the present time. Please contact us if you know more.
