It was pretty unexpected. And above all, it was almost surreal to climb in front of such a large audience after two years.

Frenchman Mejdi Schalck followed in second place. For the 17-year-old it was only the third participation in a World Cup. The Austrian Jakob Schubert followed in third place.

Young talent Natalia Grossmann wins in the women

The very young candidates were also at the forefront among the women. It was the 19-year-old American Natalia Grossmann who was the only one who could top all four finalbuders. The French Oriane Bertone, 16 years young, got three tops and four zones. The two named shared the podium with another American: Brooke Raboutou.

It is an absolute dream. I'm speechless and I'm happy that I was able to share this moment with my best friend Brooke.
