Alex Puccio boulders 8b + in Magic Wood

Not only Alex Khazanov equipped the classic New Base Line (8b +) recently made a visit. Also the American Alex Puccio is visiting the Averstal and climbed mid-last week the first by Bernd Zangerl Boulder.

Alex Puccio fell in love with the line 6 years ago and has visited the Magic Wood bouldering area several times. During her current stay, she planned the New Base Line for four days until the passage worked.

Followed by the injury pitch

As lucky as Alex Puccio was bouldering, she was so unlucky when approaching: “I just sprained my ankle in the forest today. I was walking up to a climb when I stepped on a bit of ground that was soft and I didn't realize it. My ankle twisted and i fell on it and then I felt / heard a crack. A lot of pain followed for about 10 minutes, but now it's just a good bit sore / tender and stiff. Swelling isn't bad at this point and not much bruising so fingers crossed !!! Hope it's just a sprain and back to climbing really soon in the forest after a little bit of rest! "
