Boulder or route? Frenchman Camille Coudert commits La Force (8c +)

A few days ago, the Frenchman Camille Coudert managed to inspect La Force (8c +). The line with its 30 moves is difficult to fit into the categories "climbing" or "bouldering", but moves somewhere in between.

A little over a month ago, Camille began planning the line. The young Frenchman needed a total of five sessions to commit La Force in the Orsay sector near Fontainebleau. The route was first climbed by Alban Levier and rated as a 9a route. “I have no experience in rope climbing and cannot assess Alban's suggestion. But if I compare it with bouldering traverses that I have climbed or project in Fontainebleau, then La Force is in the 8c + range, ”said Camille in an interview with the French magazine Grimper after the inspection.

"In my opinion it is the most ingenious and most logical line in the Toit d'Orsay roof!"
