Jernej Kruder climbs Dreamtime (8c) in Cresciano

Who was in Cresciano last weekend, did not miss the recent ascent of the most famous boulder in the world: Jernej Kruder climbed Dreamtime (XNUMXc).

The ascent of Dreamtime by the Slovene Jernej Kruder was quickly spread around the bouldering area of Cresciano last Saturday. After numerous attempts over several sessions Jernej could draw a line under the Fred Nicole boulder.

“I wouldn't call Dreamtime a nemesis project,” Jernej told LACRUX shortly after his visit. “But the line took a lot of patience from me,” he continues. Redemption and joy were written on his face.

Dreamtime - the first 8c boulder in the world

Dreamtime was first climbed by the climbing legend Fred Nicole in October XNUMX and is considered the world's first XNUMXc boulder. Since then, the line has brought countless top climbers to Ticino. The most recent ascents we know go to the account of Samuel Ometz, David Firnenburg, Jimmy Webb and Elias Iagnemma.
