Nalle Hukkataival boulders La Rustica (8c) in Val Bavona

Nalle Hukkataival manages the ascent of Boulders La Rustica in Val Bavona, Ticino. According to Nalle, it is probably the heaviest boulder in Switzerland.

La Rustica was first acquired by Jimmy Webb in the year 2013 and cautiously rated as hard 8b +.

"It's pretty nightmarish for shorter people, if the crux pocket was just 2 millimeters farther I'd be flat out of luck." - Nalle Hukkataival on La Rustica

Now the boulder is experiencing a repetition and upgrading by the top Finnish boulderer Nalle Hukkataival: “I'm safe to say it's 8c as shit and also likely the hardest boulder problem in Switzerland. And exceptionally rad, ”says Nalle after the ascent. Now we also know from which difficult Jimmy Webb boulder Nalle in an interview with LACRUX spoke.
