Nico Pelorson repeats the 9a boulder Soudain Seul in Fontainebleau

The Frenchman Nicolas Pelorson gets the first repetition of the 9a boulder Soudain Seul in Fontainebleau.

Opened a little over a month ago Simon Lorenzi with Soudain Seul the second 9a boulder in the world. Numerous other motivated guys were involved in the tinkering, including the French Nico Pelorson. It is he who now secured the second repetition of the line.

The man of devaluations

Nico Pelorson is tough when it comes to evaluating sport climbing routes and bouldering lines. No Kpote Only, originally also rated 9a, he described as a solid 8c. He classified a 9a route first started by Alexander Megos in Céüse with only 8c +.

It is not yet known how he feels about Simon Lorenzi's 9a proposal. Our request to Nico had not yet been answered by the editorial deadline. We are excited.
