Video about Alex Puccio's visits to the Magic Wood

In September 2017 Alex Puccio visited the bouldering area Magic Wood in Averstal. During her stay, she managed the two famous and heavy lines Riverbed (8b) as well New Base Line (8b +). Her boyfriend Joel Zerr produced a video that has been online for a few days now.

Alex Puccio was the fourth woman to commit the 8b + Boulder (Jade, Rocky Mountains National Park, 2014) succeeded. In the meantime, a few boulders were added to this degree: Wheel of Chaos (RMNP), Penrose Step (Leavenworth) and in the fall 2017 New Base Line, Despite numerous problems with injuries, the American's record was seen last year.
