At the first and so far only IFSC World Cup of the year, Adam Ondra really won. With a superior performance he secured gold - although there has been a discussion about a possible error Adam's in the meantime.
For many athletes, the competition in Briançon was a long-awaited highlight of the season. Due to the corona pandemic, all IFSC competitions have been canceled. The anticipation and motivation for the World Cup in Briançon from 21st and 22nd August 2020.
Adam Ondra started the competition with a lot of enthusiasm and outstanding performance, everything went according to plan until the jury spoke up.
“The jury accused me of standing on a bolt. But I only did a toe hook. We have therefore filed a complaint.

Adam Ondra's complaint was approved because a side-view camera clearly showed that Adam did not stand on the bolt. Nevertheless the whole thing had a pale aftertaste and called her History remembered at the World Cup in Japan. Big was confused Adam Ondra not from the action and got a great performance. The Czech was even able to climb the final route to the top.
I think it has never happened to me on the top of a competition that I thought I would fall while clipping. I had so pumped forearms.
