Dylan Chuat repeats one of the hardest routes in the world – »Move« (9b/+)

On August 12, 2025, Swiss climber Dylan Chuat will repeat "Move," a 9b/+ in Flatanger, Norway. The 24-year-old will thus climb one of the hardest sport climbing routes in the world.

Chuat didn't beat around the bush when he announced on Instagram on August 13th:

Yesterday was the day… I sent move! More info coming soon.

We're excited to see what further information comes. "Move" joins the Swiss climber's other major successes. His climbs include well-known bouldering and routes such as: Foundation's Edge (Boulder 8C), Action Directe (9a) illusionist (9a) and Thor's Hammer (9a/+)

»Move« is the third first ascent of a 9b by climbing legend Adam Ondra. It is a 55 meter long, overhanging tour in the Flatanger Cave, with a 10-meter bouldering section graded 9A. In August 2013, he announced the ascent of "Move," which Ondra said was the hardest route he had ever climbed.
