Impressive shots of Mount Everest

The photographer Elia Saikaly took 44 individual shots of the area around Base Camp II on Mount Everest and created a short film with spectacular images of the mountain.

The Canadian sat behind his cameras for many nights, while other climbers slept or made their way to the summit of the highest mountain in the world. The result are impressive pictures of Mount Everest. The shots not only show the beautiful landscape, but also give an idea of how the mountain moves back and forth. The fairy lights on the mountain are more reminiscent of a motorway and the tent city to a big city than on headlamps and tents.
