Piotr Schab rides on the wave of success

Piotr Schab continues to soar. At the beginning of the year we reported several times on its inspections. After ticking off two 9er routes in Santa Linya, he got there a few days later two more 9a's - these two then in a single day! Today he communicated the red point ascent of Victimas Perez (9a) in Margalef.

Since the beginning of May the Pole is riding again on a wave of success. His record this month:

  • American Hustle (8c, on sight)
  • Crimptonite (8b + onsight)
  • Los últimos días del Edén (8b + onsight)
  • Cosi fan tutte L1 (8a + onsight)
  • Pequena estrella (8b + onsight)
  • Cada loco con su tema (8b + onsight)

The icing on the cake is the commemoration of Victimas Perez (9a) in the Finestra sector in Margalef. Piotr's comment on the inspection: “I've dreamed about this route since I came to Margalef for the first time in 2012 due to its interesting line (long traverse in 45 degrees overhang) and beautifully-featured top part? The route turned out to be a tough challenge both for the skin and biceps, the struggle made me believe it's been my hardest 9a so far?. "

Video by Tom Bolger in Victimas Perez

We haven't received a video of the ascent from Piotr yet. The British Tom Bolger climbed and filmed Victimas Perez about a month ago. Good entertainment!
