Adam Ondra commits three 9er routes in Arco

Adam Ondra has been in Arco for a few days now. As befits the Czechs, he takes care of the hard routes.

Adam is accompanied by the Italian Stefano Ghisolfi, who moved to the northern Italian climbing area Arco almost a year ago. Since then he has ensured the opening of hard routes. For example, the proposed by him 9a + One Punch. Adam was the first to repeat this route and even slightly upgraded it: "9a + / b is probably closer to reality," says Adam about the difficulty. A guaranteed 9b is the extension that Adam unceremoniously added. With the new creation One slap (9b) it is a more difficult entry, for which Adam set a new bolt (video below). For Stefano it is clear: "Laghel is becoming one of the hardest crag in the world, with a 9a, 9a + / b and two 9b's and the hardest ones still unclimbed."

9a first ascent

Incidentally, Adam also managed a boulder-heavy 9a in the same climbing area. Adam has not yet forgiven a name. The following video shows Adam in the route.
