Babsi Zangerl scores Unleashed and Instructor after lockdown

Vorarlberg climber Babsi Zangerl returns to the rock after the corona lockdown and soon scores two difficult routes: Unleashed (8c +) and Instructor (8c + / 9a)

Obviously, training during the corona lockdown helped Babsi Zangerl paid out. The 31-year-old ticked off two projects in nearby areas.

So there was no lack of motivation, especially after the long waiting in the four walls. One of the routes that Babsi went through was Unleashed (8c +). This route challenges walkers not only physically but also mentally. Because after the key point a pretty long runout has to be overcome.

Another route that Babsi was able to score after the lockdown is Instructor (8c + / 9a) in the Kalkofen climbing area. Babsi is particularly proud of the ascent.

"Such overhanging routes are actually not my thing and it was worth investing so much time and effort in the route."

The route instructor was designed by the Austrian Juergen Hofle furnished and through Jacopo Larcher first started. With her red dot ascent, Babsi Zangerl once again proves that she is one of the strongest and most versatile climbers.
