Dave MacLeod on the Free Solo ascent of Darwin Dixit (8b +) in Margalef

Eleven years ago, the British Dave MacLeod succeeded with Darwin Dixit (then rated 8c), probably the most difficult free-solo ascent. Now the 41 year old publishes the video of the ascent in Margalef.

Dave MacLeod 2008 was in the Spanish sports climbing area Margalef, After the successful redpoint ascent of the then 8c rated route Darwin Dixit, he put it on top. The next day he boarded the route without a backup partner and got one Free solo-Going the route.
