In December, Barbara Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher managed the second red point ascent of the Yosemite route Magic Mushroom. The multi-pitch Magic Mushroom tour, with 13 pitches in the 8a area and one pitch in the 8b + area, is one of the most difficult big wall routes in the world. Now the film about the inspection is online.
“I never thought that I could score points with Magic Mushroom,” says Babsi at the beginning of the film. Numerous Hauling-Meter, Boulder sessions and Portaledge-nights invested the two Vorarlberger in the route on El Capitan. And it was worth it. "Once again we have learned that passion, perseverance, belief in the impossible and a well-rehearsed team make it possible to make dreams come true," says Jacopo after the successful commission in December 2017 (LACRUX reported). Thanks to Francois Lebeau and Louder Than 11 a movie about the second largest Big Wall routes was built Yosemite Valley.
