First ascent in the Frankenjura: Maximiliam Karrer climbs the lactate storm (8c +)

The German climber Maximiliam Karrer succeeds in the first ascent of the Laktatsturm route (8c +).

The sector shaft near Pegnitz has gained a new route. Maximiliam Karrer combines the lactate boulder (8a + trav) with the winger route (8b). For the combination, Maximiliam suggests the rating 8c +.

The two lines complement each other in that the Boulder Laktat, by André Behr, ends at the first hook of the winger, Markus Windisch. The Laktatsturm combination climbed by Maximiliam strings a total of around 43 continuous moves on ridges and holes.
