Iker Pou commits brutal one-finger overhang route

The Basque top athlete Iker Pou gives the Margalef climbing area, known for its orange rock rollers, two new difficult routes: La Orden del Puño (8c) and Pueblo Pequeño Infierno Grande (8c +).

The time for Spanish climbing areas has come. While we are rehearsing songs like “Leise trickelt der Schnee” in this country, the world's elite in Oliana, Siurana and Margalef are studying the complex features of their difficult routes. Iker Pou has studied and trained enough for a first ascent. He was the first to climb the two routes La Orden del Puño (8c) and Pueblo Pequeño Infierno Grande (8c +).

Fortunately, there is a video of the 8c +. The route is a typical Iker route: massively overhanging, riddled with one- and two-finger holes and boulder-heavy. See for yourself.
