Lukasz Dudek manages the free ascent of the difficult multi-pitch route Pan Aroma on the western pinnacle - in rope solo style.
Lukasz Dudek is not only one of the strongest and most versatile climbers in Poland, but is also increasingly making a name for himself as a rop solo climber. In January he started the difficult route Core in the Polish climbing area Biblioteka attentive who single-handedly climbed freely. In contrast to the climbing style "Free Solo“Lukasz secured himself during his ascent.
His latest coup is now the ascent of the multi-pitch route Pan Aroma on the western pinnacle in the Dolomites. The route was made in 2007 by Alexander Huber first ascended and in 2010 for the first time Hansjörg Auer repeated, later also by David Lama and Brothers Pou red dot climbed.
It is a 500 meter north face tour with difficulties up to 8c. The first five pitches follow Pan flavor the route Bellavista to the stand directly below the large roof.
It's not an ordinary route. The distances between the fuses are long, and so are potential falls.

New dimension: Lukasz Dudek with Pan Aroma Rope solo
With his ascent of the route single-handedly penetrates Lukasz Dudek into a whole new dimension - personally as well as in terms of the route. As previous repeaters of the tour, the Pou brothers, say, Pan Aroma is not just a difficult multi-pitch route. With its 40 meter roof, Pan Aroma is very steep and very demanding in terms of climbing and rope technology. Such a tour Rope solo climbing is an achievement in itself and hardly imaginable.
The key length is very difficult in itself. But if you climb it without a belaying partner, then you have to go back to your last stand after the ascent and clear out all the material and jumble yourself up on the rope. This whole process is super strict.
