New climbing guide available: Basler Jura

There is a new SAC climbing guide for one of the oldest and most important climbing areas in Switzerland, the Basler Jura.

The region around Baselland, Thierstein, Dorneck and Soyhiéres is one of the oldest and most important climbing areas in Switzerland. Its location in the border triangle with France and Germany gives the Basler Jura supraregional importance. The new SAC climbing guide Basler Jura describes comprehensively and in detail all the rocky areas currently accessible for climbing.

The history of climbing in the Basle Jura is traced in the drawings, various articles and individual route characterizations. Contributions to geology and the environment complement this guide perfectly. A large part of the topographies are based on the legendary Fluebible.
