New edition of the climbing guide for South Tyrol

The Alpine Club South Tyrol (AVS) and the publishing house Vertical-Life present the second edition of the climbing guidebook for South Tyrol.

The fully updated and updated Guidebook contains detailed information on 95 Climbing Gardens across the country, seven of which are being published for the first time. The most diverse types of rock, from granite to porphyry to compact limestone, climbing gardens next to vineyards, lakes or in front of the spectacular background of the Dolomites: Once again, the guide shows the great variety of climbing opportunities in South Tyrol.

Renovation and new development thanks to the Alpine Association

After the great success of the first edition of the year 2015, the new edition is a confirmation of the work of the AVS in this area: "As a representative of all climbers supports the Alpine Association South Tyrol a variety of climbing gardens in the rehabilitation and development and at the same time ensures compliance with nature conservation aspects" says Ernesto Scarperi from the AVS.

Content of the guidebook also available in the app

In addition to well-tried areas such as the Stone Town or the Burgkofel, the second edition also includes new climbing gardens, such as the Sefnarwand in Passeier, Nock in the Eisacktal or Zörhof in the Puster Valley. Color photo topos, overview maps and detailed descriptions present the most important information at a glance. Numerous spectacular climbing pictures give a small foretaste of the beauty of the environment. All contents of the book are also available in the Vertical-Life Climbing App and can be unlocked via a code. They are printed in German as well as Italian, in the app also in English.
