Obed Hardmeier scores El Molinero at Gimmelwald

Gimmelwald is very popular. The latest inauguration of a difficult route goes to Obed Hardmeier. He climbs El Molinero (8c +).

The overhanging and extremely athletic route requires a good deal of stamina from their enthusiasts and visitors. The most recent conqueror of the Gimmewald route El Molinero (8c +) is the 24-year-old Obed Hardmeier from Zurich. "I am super happy to have climbed this route at the beginning of our climbing trip," said Obed on the day of the ascent.
