The Frenchman Seb Bouin manages one of the most difficult routes in France with Beyond Integral (9b / +) in the Pic Saint Loup climbing area.
Announced once more Seb Bouin the first ascent of an extremely difficult sport climbing route in his home country. For the line in the Pic Saint Loup area, Seb proposes 9b / +. The Route Route is one of the most difficult routes in France, indeed in the world.
Although Seb with La Rage d'Adam and Move If he had already climbed routes of this degree several times, he needed countless attempts before he was able to climb the red point Beyond integral succeeded.
I don't know how many times I bouldered the upper part to find a solution. That is probably the privilege of the first ascent 😁
Sébastien Bouin
50 meter route
The route is around 50 meters long and offers pretty much everything a climbing heart desires: spectacular jumps, Egyptian, Tufas and strips. And between the two sections, 9a + and 8a +, there is a good resting point.
In addition to the Beyond Integral (9b / +) route, Seb Bouin managed another first ascent in the area: Terra Nova (8c +), set up by local climber Fedric Ferraro.
