The German climber Stephan Vogt succeeds in the first repetition of Stil vor Talent (8c) on the Bruno Block in Magic Wood.
It's been a long time since Stephan stood under the Bruno Block. But at the beginning of May the moment has come and the starting signal for one success after another has been given. First of all, he succeeded in the ascent of the ultra-classic in the forest of the Averstal: The Never Ending Story (8b +).
A few weeks later, Stephan returned to Switzerland, back to Averstal and back to the same block. This time the Neverending story 1 + 2 + 3 in focus. He invested eight sessions over six years in the line until it worked out on June 13, 2021.
And because the saying goes that all good things come in threes, returned Stephan back one more time in the Magic Wood. And back to the same block, where he had only the second ascent of the boulder Style over talent (8c / +) succeeded.
The dream became a reality. On June 20, 2021, Stephan Vogt secured the second ascent of Stil vor Talent. The line was from the Swiss Giani Clement first ascended on August 6, 2020 (LACRUX reported) and rated 8c / +. Stephan suggests a rating of 8c.
