Over five years, the Swiss professional mountaineer explored Dani Arnold and photographer Thomas Monsorno, together with climbing partner Martin Echser and filmmaker Lukas Kusstatscher, explored spectacular ice walls around the world. Their travels took them from Russia's Lake Baikal to Iceland's volcanic landscape to Kazakhstan and the fjords Spitsbergen.
Monsorno's photographs show Arnold seemingly weightless, a game between man and nature. Anti Gravity is more than an illustrated book about ice climbing – it is an inspiring homage to the beauty and challenge of our earth.
