Alex Megos shows his secret climbing hall

The Pulp Friction Gym is located in the heart of Franconian Switzerland. Built by Christoph Hanke and his wife Chiara, this training location has achieved cult status in recent years and made climbing pro Alex Megos who he is today. A tour of the iconic gym.

It's not the Hotel Frankenjura, but certain parallels to the legendary climbing flat shared by Wolfgang Güllich, Kurt Albert and Norbert Sandner are recognizable. Also in Pulp Friction Gym it's all about climbing. And just like in the XNUMXs in Oberschöllenbach, the strongest climbers of their generation also meet in Betzenstein. Alex Megos spends in the climbing hall of Christopher Hanke most of his training, climbing greats like Will Bosi, Yannick Flohé or Molly Thompson Smith have immortalized themselves on the Wall of Fame. A round trip through the iconic climbing gym.
