In memory of the two Tyroleans, Bayerischer Rundfunk published a report about David Lama and Hansjörg Auer.

The alpinists are in April 2019 David Lama and Hansjörg Auer zusammen mit Jess Roskelley in the canadian Rockies died in an avalanche accident (LACRUX reported).

To Hansjörg and David To remember and appreciate them, Bavarian Radio shows a ski tour in the Tyrolean mountains that Michael Düchs undertook with the two a few years ago. The reportage shows the two of them as they are: no uplifting alpine heroes, but down-to-earth, reflected and likeable guys.
