Video Rock & Splash: Jernej Kruder doing deep water soloing in Mallorca

Heavy first ascents through Jernej Kruder and probably the hardest female deep-water soloing by his sister Julia was the result of her stay in Mallorca. Now Scarpa is releasing a film about the DWS trip of the siblings Kruder.

Despite the bad weather in autumn 2018, the yield of Julia and Jernej's Mallorca trip can be seen. Jernej succeeded in a few experiments the first ascent of the 8b + Route Animal Magnetism. With Salty Beverage he opened a route in the area 8b / 8b + in the bay of Cala Sa Nau and Julia was probably the first female ascent of the DWS classic Weatherman (8a +).
