Today the semi-final of the Boulder World Cup took place here in Meiringen. 40 athletes from 15 nations battled for a place in the finals in the morning. Switzerland was represented by Petra Klingler and Andrea Kümin. Petra Klingler, who will compete against six other athletes tonight in the final at 18.30 p.m., successfully passed the semifinals.
The two Swiss athletes Petra Klingler and Andrea Kümin impressed in the semi-finals at the first competition of the Boulder World Cup with a great performance. Unfortunately, Andrea Kümin injured in the first boulder, which she slowed slightly. Nevertheless, she pulled one boulder or the other sovereign. With her best ever World Cup result (10 rank), the 19-year-old unfortunately could not qualify for the final. Petra Klingler, for her part, managed two tops and the 5. Zwischenrang the entry into the final. Katharina Saurwein took a place in the final for the Austrians. Germany is represented in the final with David Firnenburg.
