IFSC has to cancel World Cup because sponsor is gone

The IFSC has announced that the IFSC Speed World Cup in Klagenfurt, which was scheduled to take place in July, had to be removed from the calendar due to the withdrawal of a sponsor.

Due to the withdrawal of a sponsor, the organizer ACTS Sportveranstaltungen GmbH cannot host the Speed World Cup with absolute certainty. For this reason, IFSC the event was removed from the competition calendar.

The IFSC is now looking for an alternative venue in another city in order to still be able to hold the sixth and final Speed World Cup of the 2025 season.

The IFSC World Cup Innsbruck 2025 – which includes the disciplines of bouldering, lead and paraclimbing – is not affected by the cancellation.
