Pascal Bernhard wins the competition in the Boulderhalle LÖ bloc

About a week ago, the "Goldfinger" bouldering competition took place in the LÖ bloc bouldering hall near the Swiss border near Basel. Here is the report from the organizers:

The hall had been screwed empty to 2 / 3, so that the 36 qualification boulder had a certain USP. The mood was solved and it was fair athletic fought. Many enthusiastic faces - the cake in the sun or the tasty burger from the Foodtruck, which came specially from Freiburg, contributed to this.

120 athletes competed in the LÖ bloc

120 athletes came to compete, from Constance to Karlsruhe, from Strasbourg to neighboring Switzerland. It became clear early on who had a good chance of making it to the final. In the women's category, serial winner Manon Ribs from Strasbourg was clearly ahead of the German national team athlete Solveig Korherr (Schaffhausen) with 22 flashes, 5 tops and 7 bonus points.

Pascal Bernhard wins ahead of Joachim Rubarth and Tobias Steiger

In the men's category, Pascal Bernhard (Constance) was the only athlete to achieve all of the top grips with an impressive 34 flashes and 2 tops. Just behind was Joachim Rubarth (Freiburg) with 26 flashes, 7 tops and 3 bonuses. Tobias Steiger (Wehr), Andreas Seitzer & Pit Hermann (both Lörrach) and Max Unger (Constance) completed the final.
