Climbers at the Blüemlisalp fatal accident

Last Sunday there was a fatal accident when a rope team descended from the Blüemlisalp.

Shortly after 5 a.m. yesterday, July 2020, 29, the Bern cantonal police received an emergency call. On the Rothornsattel in the Bernese Oberland, a rope team has crashed. According to current knowledge, a XNUMX-year-old Swiss and his companion were in the descent from the Blüemlisalp when the two crashed for reasons that are still unclear.

The 29-year-old sustained fatal injuries. His partner in the rope team was flown to a hospital with minor injuries.
