After World Cups in Wujiang, Bali and Innsbruck, the Lead discipline starts the second half of the season this weekend in Chamonix.
This year we have Chamonix, Madrid and Copper There are still three Lead World Cups before the World Championships in Seoul (all disciplines). The annual mandatory stop in Chamonix offers the start of the second half of the 2025 lead season.
Megos and Ghisolfi reported
At the IFSC Lead World Cup in Chamonix is among other things Alex Megos who called his season debut in Innsbruck his «worst competition ever» – as did teammate Yannick Flohe, who finished fifth in Innsbruck.

Garnbret sits out, Raboutou back in the World Cup
After her double gold in Innsbruck, Janja Garnbret again until her home World Cup in Koper. However, there's a surprising name on the women's starting list: Brooke Raboutou, who has spent her season outdoors so far, will compete in Chamonix.
The American recently climbed with Excalibur in Arco as the first woman to climb 9b+ – how the amount of time spent on the rock influences her lead performance will be seen in the qualification starting Saturday.
