The Mountains on Stage film festival stops in Switzerland, Germany & Austria

The mountain film festival Mountains on Stage is back with a brand new program and tour in over 130 cities in 18 European countries. The German-speaking tour starts on November 29, 2021 in Zurich and stops in 13 cities in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. As the official media partner, LACRUX is giving away tickets for a demonstration of your choice.

Mountains on Stage is a film festival that aims to bring the mountains to the city with a selection of the world's best films related to mountain sports such as skiing, mountaineering, climbing or paragliding.

On the program of the winter edition are:

  • Ski film La Liste - Everything or Nothing: Jérémy Heitz and Simon Anthamatten take you on a freeride adventure at over 6000 m altitude and at high speed
  • A record attempt on the mythical Chamonix-Zermatt route by an extraordinary pair of women: Valentine Fabre and Hillary Gerardi
  • A bike-ski combination led by Vivian Bruchez, Sébastien Montaz Rosset and Mathieu Navillod to explore the most beautiful walls in the Alps
  • An incredible trip to El Salto with the Mexican climber Fernanda and her film Pretty Strong.
  • A new concept: the choice of Departure of the year. The Mountains on Stage team has selected six films and you can vote for your favorite. The three finalists will be presented during the tour.
