This is the young German climber Martina Demmel | Video

This video accompanies the young climber Martina Demmel to her home country and shows how a visit to the climbing gym changed her life.

In the spring of 2021, the news rolled over Martina Demmel. While we were writing an article about the incredible route balance of the months of January and February, we received the news of their 8b+ onsight ascent and 8c+ redpoint ascent. She climbed both routes on the same day.

A few weeks later we spent a day at Voralpsee with Martina Demmel and invited the now 20-year-old to ours broadcast beta on (see below). Visits to daily newspapers and regular articles in the international climbing media accompanied Demmel throughout the year. At the end of the year, a video was released that accompanied Martina to her home country and showed how a visit to the climbing gym changed her life.
