In mid-September 2017 succeeded the Belgian Anak Verhoeven the first ascent of Sweet Neuf (9a +). If the degree is confirmed, she would be the first woman to make a ninth grade route. The first female ascent of an 9er route took Margo Hayes at the beginning of the year.
