Next Saturday, April 27th, is payday, because then the Swiss U12 to U16 bouldering champions will be crowned in the Bouba bouldering hall in Baden. The finals can be followed in the live stream.
After the two SAC Youth Climbing Cups in Basel and Schlieren in March, it is now a question of which young athletes will demonstrate the necessary strength, technique, tactics and mental strength to claim this year's championship title in their respective category.
Nina Tsuchiya and Néo Leander Hohl are the favorites for the U12. In the U14 category, Amélie Kägi and Bastian Da Rugna lead the field of the best. Ultimately, it is Julia Rasmussen and Moreno Ghilardi in the U16 who have the best chances of winning.
Live stream of the finals
As with the first elite competitions this year, there will be a live stream of the finals, commented by David Firnenburg. Kevin Heiniger, a former and long-time elite national team athlete, will be there as a guest commentator and will have a lot to say from his wealth of climbing experience.
The finals for the female U12 to U16 run from 15:15 p.m. to 17:00 p.m., the finals for the male U12 to U16 from 18:45 p.m. to 20:30 p.m. There is enough space for everyone who would like to follow the competition live on site. Admission is free.
