Film tip: Cerro Torre Climb & Fly

In January 2022, Roger Schäli, Mario Heller and Pablo Pontoriero flew their paragliders from Cerro Torre after climbing Patagonia's granite giant via the Ragni route on its west face. The film of their Climb & Fly adventure is now available.

The Cerro Torre with its crown of snow and ice, it is considered one of the most iconic destinations among alpinists. In 2020, Fabi Buhl was the first to dare to climb the granite giant and fly down from the summit with a paraglider.

Two years later, the two Swiss teamed up Mario Heller and Roger Schäli with the Argentinian Pablo Pontoriero for a Climb & Fly adventure. Your goal: to climb Cerro Torre via the Ragni route and take off from the summit together with a paraglider.

The fact that the entire team was able to take off from the summit with their paragliders is a testament to their skills, both as mountaineers and as pilots. The documentary Cerro Torre Climb & Fly lets you experience the trio's adventure up close with powerful images.
