On Monday, 29. April 2019, Piotr Schab managed the sixth ascent of the 9b route Fight or Flight with her dynamic train.

In mid-May, the Pole flew to Oliana and started after a hard winter training with his old project: Fight or Flight (9b), first attained by the old master Chris Sharma in May 2011. It is the first route in this degree for the 22 year old Poland.

"Holy shit. It happened!?! I climbed my first 9b, it feels surreal.

Already in the year 2018 projected Piotr the route for 15 days, but had to leave without having achieved anything. “In the end, I couldn't even climb the route in two parts,” explains Piotr. In winter, Piotr, with the support of his coaches, gave himself a hard training that took his weak points into account. "Right at the beginning of this trip I noticed that the training was paying off," says Piotr. Nevertheless, it took around two weeks before he started his long-term project Fight or Flight (9b) in Oliana redpoint could climb.

"Thanks Matt, Lucien, Jorg, Patxi for the time we spent together planning the route and thanks to Chris Sharma for the route that we can all test ourselves on. "
