Ultralight & resistant: high-end tents from Samaya

The French brand Samaya has set itself the task of revolutionizing the 4-season tent. Since it was founded in 2018, it has been pursuing this goal as uncompromisingly as it is successfully. In three product lines, it produces ultra-light and extremely robust tents for mountaineering and high-altitude mountaineering.

From the conviction that the perfect 4-season tent does not yet exist, is 2018 Samaya developed. Since then, the French makers in Annecy have been developing high-end tents for the highest demands. They have already dusted off the ISPO award four times in a row with their tents. The most radical of the ultra-light series weighs just 655 grams.

It's not quite as extreme, but still ultra-light Samaya2.5. The dome tent offers an exciting mix of comfort, flexibility and low weight, making it perfect for ambitious outdoor enthusiasts.

Three product series: Versatile, powerful, light

Samaya tents can be divided into three product lines, each with a very special focus:

Alpine range

Versatility and flexibility are the watchwords when it comes to the Alpine Range series. The lightweight and compact 4-season tents are designed for anyone looking for a comfortable tent that can be used all year round and in all weather conditions.

8K range

The tents of the 8K series focus on maximum performance. The products in this line were developed for base camps and expeditions that typically take place in inaccessible regions in the Himalayas or in polar regions.

ultra range

The Ultra range was developed with the aim of meeting the extremely demanding requirements of alpine-style ascents. In the search for uncompromising lightness, Samaya relies on internal know-how and external partnerships such as Dyneema.

Samaya2.5: Super light all-season tent

The 4-season tent Samaya2.5 weighs just 1570 grams and still offers space for up to three people. Speaking of space: With a pack size of 6,2 liters, it takes up very little space in your backpack. The dome tent is breathable and waterproof with a water column of 10 millimeters.

comfort and protection

Thanks to its self-supporting structure, the Samaya2.5 can be assembled and disassembled very quickly. The dome shape maximizes the usable area and together with the high vertical walls ensures ample comfort. At the same time, its hexagonal construction reduces the wind's attack surfaces.

High-Quality Materials

The bottom of the Samaya2.5 is made of robust Dyneema, the walls are made of a specially developed, 3-layer laminated fabric. Together with the water-repellent zips, this reliably protects against the weather.

Application oriented

Thanks to its modular character, you can put together your samaya tent individually. Depending on the number of people, the height, the weather or the type of ground, you can decide for yourself whether you want to take accessories such as the additional tent floor (footprint), awning (vestibule) and mosquito net with you or leave them at home.
