Giuliano Cameroni opens 8c-Boulder Blade Runner at Rocky Mountain National Park

Shortly before the end of his stay in the United States, the Swiss Giuliano Cameroni will take the first ascent of the 8c boulder Blade Runner.

The ticklist of the young Tessiner in Rocky Mountain National Park can be seen. During the four-week trip he climbed the following lines:

  • Memory is Parallax (8b +)
  • Topaz (8c)
  • Domestic Cat (8b +)
  • Jade (8b +)
  • Blade Runner (FA, 8c)

Blade Runner is a direct entry point of the Boulder Jade. The start is on a large handle, from where it goes slightly upwards and then right up to the ramp of Jade. Then Blade Runner follows Jade's exit. As a difficulty, Giuliano cautiously indicates 8c.

“Blade Runner felt a little more difficult than Jade and Domestic Cat. From this point of view, the difficulty is in the lower 8c area. "
