Who will be the first to crack Project Big in Flatanger?

Seb Bouin was recently on the Project Big route and now Jakob Schubert is in Norway to tackle the route. The race for the first ascent is on. But who wins?

The ProjectBig It is probably one of the most difficult routes in the world. Adam Ondra set up the line before Silence, but then focused on Silence first. Then it was quiet on the tour for a long time.

Then last year returned Adam Ondra zusammen mit Jakob Schubert back to Flatanger. The two mammoth athletes planned the route together, optimized the beta and gave their first attempts at climbing. Despite the joint effort, both had to return home without having accomplished anything. Inspired by the video of the two mentioned above, the strong Frenchman was drawn in August Seb Bouin to Norway. He invested a total of eight days on the Project Big route.

«Connecting the last trains is incredibly hard. It's really tough to have the necessary explosiveness again after so many meters of climbing.

But he also drove home without a free inspection. Next in line is Jakob Schubert again. He arrived three days ago and is once again sinking his teeth into Project Big. Will he win the first free ascent of the tour and possibly join the club of 9c route ascents?
