Kilian Fischhuber and co climb the Sundrun Pillars in Siberian no man's land

The Austrian climber Kilian Fischhuber traveled as part of an expedition to one of the most remote places in the world: In the granite city of Ulakhan-Sis with its numerous rock towers.

The area was discovered only a few years ago. It was the biologist and photographer Alexander Krivoshapkin, who discovered the bizarre landscape on a helicopter flight when he was reindeer as part of his work as a biologist.

First discovered and already climbed

Already two years after the discovery by Alexander Krivoshapkin took now Kilian Fischhuber, Robert Leistner and the Russian Galina Terenteva take part in an expedition to climb the Sundrun Pillars.
