Roger Schaeli climbs 50 meter stamina

Roger Schaeli has been working on overhanging sport climbing routes in Spain for a long time. Today he announced the inspection of Gorilas in Niebla (8b +) in Oliana.

The state of the route Gorilas in Niebla cannot be reached so quickly. The route is 50 meters long, leads past a key point at the beginning and waits for potential climbers towards the end with a technically demanding climb. One of them has recently been the 34-year-old all-round alpinist Roger Schäli, who worked on the route for two days. “The route was super hard,” said Roger, commenting on the ascent.

Katherine Choong also performed in Gorilas in Niebla

Jurassic Katherine Choong was also in Oliana at the beginning of the year and picked up the 17. January 2017 the commission of Gorilas in Niebla. That it is even harder, they proved in two other routes (LACRUX reported).
