What a consolation: Jorge Diaz-Rullo climbs 8c and 8b+ route onsight

The strong Spaniard Jorge Diaz-Rullo recently turned his back on his mega-project Café Colombia in Margalef – after an incredible 120 days of planning. The change of scene seems to have been good for the 23-year-old: in Santa Linya he managed the onsight inspections of La Fabelita (8c) and Rollito Sharma (8b +).

The Spanish climber Jorge Diaz Rullo has a lot of time in the Spanish crag Margalef spent. Over three seasons he projected 120 days alone Colombia Coffee. Even if he was denied the climb through this mega line, he did succeed at the beginning of February Mejorando la Samfaina (9b +, FA) a milestone in his climbing career so far. And recently there was a candy in Santa Linya two more impressive onsight tours on top: La Fabelita (8c) and Rollito Sharma (8b +).

La Fabelita (8c) is an incredible route that he saved for an onsight attempt. The young Spaniard sums up his climbing day as follows: "A perfect attempt on a magical day."

In addition to La Fabelita, Jorge Diaz-Rullo also secured the onsight inspection of the 8b+ line Rollito Sharma. «A fantastic route and one of the classics that you simply have to have on your tick list.» He just missed the onsight of Rollito Sharma Extension (8c) by a hair's breadth: in the last move before the deflector he dropped.
